872. Provenance: Caucasian (?), Persian tribal ie. Qashqa'i, Afshar etc (?)

Size: 194 x 94 cm 

Age: circa 1950 (?)

Condition: Very good, though there is a little colour run into the pale ground.

Notes: Frankly speaking, I know little about this, as soumak/embroidery is not my forte. It is certainly tribal, but wheter it is Persian or Caucasian I am unsure. Whatch this space!
