Condition: Good, with just minor losses at ends.

Notes: Many Herizes of this age have great natural colours and this fine piece is no exception. The soft pinkish earth colour in this carpet is unusual and very pleasing, giving the whole design a soothing, calm aura. As with most Herizes this piece is heavy, woven as it is on robust cotton foundations. It is strong and well made, but the handle is more flexible that is common, and the wool quality is very high.
