Condition: Good with minor wear to the field.

Notes: A charming and highly usable Heriz carpet. Although not finely woven, Herizes are amongst the most robust and solid of Persian carpets, woven as they are on hefty cotton wefts and warps. Largely natural dyes and a finely judged balance of colours. The design is typical of the type with a large central medallion and a surrounding field of highly geometricized floral elements.
