Age: Circa 1940

Condtion: Generally very good with full high pile, but there is heavy wear in one patch on the edge.

Notes: A sweetly simple rendition of the famous 'elephant gul' Ersari design, with only major, not minor 'guls'. The madder brown field is vibrant, and details are nicely highlighted in cream. The wool quality and sheen are excellent.
