Condition: Good for age, with all-over low pile.

Notes: A particularly attractive tribal Bakhtiari Persian rug, with pretty common (in Bakhtiaris) panels containing pretty unusual tribal motifs. More floral designs feature more frequently, but here we have highly stylized geometric drawings, which add to the somewhat naive, rustic charm of the piece. As is usually the case with this tribe, the dyestuffs are of excellent quality. Magnetic.
