Condition: Very good for age. Minor losses at ends, fully secured.

Notes:  A beautiful Heriz, typical of its type and age. A broad array of largely natural dyestuffs, woven in a near-geometric rendition of a floral design. The weave of such Herizes is not fine, but that isn't the point with these rugs. The simplified, village take on what is normally a curvilinear arrangement leads to a carpet that is at once complex, yet not overly fussy or chintzy. The wondeful choice of and use of natural dyes compliments the mixture. A surperb old furnishing Persian.
