Age: circa 1930

Size: 320 x 132 cm

Condition: Pretty good for age. Areas of lower pile. Slightly scruffy selvedges. 

Notes: A stunning long rug using mixed techniques (plainweave/kilim, soumak embroidery, and knotted pile) with wonderfu and exuberant colours, notably the joyful saffron yellow and warm orange red. Pure tribal piece using the fine quality wool that this region of the Atlas is famed for.
