886. Provenance: Qashqa'i Confederacy of Tribes, Fars Province, South Central Persia

Age: Circa 1910 to 20

Condition: Extremely good, with largely intact kilim ends. Only very minor corrosion of the dark browns (common).

Notes: A delightful small Qashqa'i tribal saddle-bag or khorjin 'face'. The kilim back and the adjoing bagface have long since gone, but this 'bagface' is in good condition. Such tribal weaving are highly collectible.
