Age: Circa 1920

Condition: Very good. Even, cropped pile. Very minor loss one end.

Notes: Typical diamond medallions on camel/light ground of Serapis. Higlights in good strong primary colours. Interlocked rosette & leaf main border flanked by running floral minor borders. The design shares many similarities with rugs on the other side of the Iranian border in the states of the Caucasus.
