885. Provenance: Baluch or 'Baluch-type', Western Afghanistan or Eastern Persia

Size: 140 (opened out) x 72 cm 

Age: circa 1930

Condition: Good for age. Repair to kilim back (in many pieces the backs are entirely absent). 

Notes: An attractive tribal storage bag that would make a great cushion. The wool is hand-spun quality highland wool, and the dyes are very sympathetic. The stylized leaf main border adds charm, as do the multicoloured kilim loop-holes and goat-hair loop ties.
