964. Provenance: Baluch tribal, Western Afghanistan

Size: 221 x 113 cm

Age: circa 1920

Condition: Some wear and 'corrosion' of the dark browns (common in old Baluch tribals).

Notes: A classic design of interlocking medallions with a running hook motif. Dark dark colouring typical of such 'black' Baluchs, with just dashes of bright colour. Soft handspun mountain wool.
