850. Provenance: Malayer, possibly Hamadan, western Persia

Size: 195 x 137 cm

Age: circa 1940

Condition: Good with low pile.

Notes: A pretty floral rug with pleasing and various shades of indigo and pink/red. The piece is somehow neither too cluttered or too spare, and the weaver has done a wonderful job of colour choice and drawing.
