Condition: Good.

Notes: A particularly beautiful example of these restrainted, somewhat reserved Tekke rugs. This one probably dates from the early Soviet era, but nonetheless retains much of the charm and individuality of the earlier Turkoman tribal pieces. The red hue is luminous and the piece has an attractive 'abrush'. Wool on wool foundation.
