Age: Circa 1930

Condition: An area of heavier wear. Good for age.

Notes:  What sets this rich red Afghan apart is the quality of it's glossy, lustrous wool, and indeed the depth of it's madder-rich red colouring. The Ersari origin weavers of this piece have emulated the Tekke's small 'gul'. The result is a dignified and restrained piece.
