Condition: Good, with just minor loss at one end.

Notes: A classic Afghan Baluch piece, with the kind of subdued colouring that comes from their limited access to available dyes. Here, the madder root has been used for the soft brown, iron-oxide from rocks for the dark brown, and indigo (imported from India) for the blue. Lustrous, soft hand-spun wool.
