Notes: A very apealling Heriz, with six varied medallions surrounded by a wealth of tribal motifs, stylized flowerheads, and even human figures. Despite a typically busy Karadja design the colour scheme insures that there is harmony. These Persian rugs share much in common design-wise with their Caucasian cousins to the north, though they are woven on cotton rather than woollen foundations.
