Condition: Good for age. Patches of minor wear.

Notes: A charming tribal design with star-shaped motifs in the central indigo field. A lovely meandering-leaf/flower minor border surrounding a particularly lively, varied and multicoloured 'chainlink' major border, which I have rarely seen before or since. This unusual runner exhibits Kurdish influence, particarly in the central motifs. It is woven in glossy handspun wool on a woolen foundation - pretty sure evidence that it is from the Caucasian half of Azerbaijan.
