Age: circa 1890

Condition: Fair for its great age, but with wear and low pile. Minor loss at ends.

Notes: A fine and beautifully woven Afshar tribal, with exceptional drawing, particlarly in its beautiful borders. The overall appearance of the rug is one of great harmony and balance. Lustrous highland hand-spun wool and natural dyes. A gem.
