431. Providance: Baluch tribes, Northeastern Persia, or very possibly Western Aghanistan

Size: 180 x100 cm

Age: Circa 1920

Condition: Good. Minor field and fold wear and loss of the kilim end, one end.

Notes: A lovely old Baluch, borrowing the famous Tekke Turkoman design. It is not unusual for Baluch weavers to borrow designs from neighbouring weaving groups, and this is one design highly favoured. Good vibrant dyes including a great indigo blue and a warm madder red.
