359. Provenance: Heriz, Persian Azerbaijan, NW Persia

Size: 360 x 236 cm

Age: circa 1910

Condition: Some small areas of repaired pile and two very small repaired holes. Pile is generally still good and high for age.

Notes: Superb colours in this beautiful Heriz. Despite thier generally quite coars weave, Herizes are renowned for their strengh and structural integrity. They also have lovely balanced designs of sowewhat geometrical floral medallion designs. This rug does have some condition issues, so pls note the price structure below.
